Conures.

Conures are like Macaws in miniature. They often become excellent and affectionate pets if tamed young. 

With time and attention many become fair talkers. The large variety of colors & temperaments gives one a smorgasbord of choices.

The bright golden and red-orange coloring of the sun conure makes it one of the most beautiful and colorful of the conures. They do make great pets but can also be a bit noisy. 

The Green-cheek conure, although not as colorful, is somewhat quieter and also makes a great pet.
